The Gala festivities will begin with an extended cocktail reception beginning at 6:00 PM, and it will be followed by a seated dinner at 7:30 PM that will coincide with our awards program for the evening. The Gala will also feature a silent auction, in which you can bid on exclusive experiences, memorabilia, gift baskets and more.

We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Awards will be presented to Professor Atiya Aftab '91, Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University, Department of Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies Program and Julia A. López '06, Partner, Reed Smith LLP, Distinguished Alumni Award.

The Fannie Bear Besser Award for Public Service will be presented to The Honorable Jamel K. Semper '07, Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. We are proud to recognize the achievements and contributions that these dynamic alumni have made to the community, the law school, and our profession.
